That means when you begin your apprenticeship you will be paid to learn the skills of your trade. Apprenticeship programs last up to five years and during that time, you are becoming proficient in your chosen craft – through classroom training, job shadowing and job site training, you will learn all you need for a life-long (something) career.
An apprentice is an individual who learns a crafts through classroom instruction and on-the-job training. Classes are taught by men and women who are skilled in that trade while on-the-job training is overseen by construction professionals.
Unlike other training programs, apprentices are paid while developing their skills. And as your skills increase, so does your pay level. Another benefit, when you complete your apprenticeship, you are debt free.

There are 15 different crafts to choose from. Each one is explained in detail so you can choose which one is right for you.

We are part of the West Central Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council. We support all levels of the construction industry for Central Illinois. We help workers build skills and find top paying jobs throughout the many different building trades.
